Sayyed Nasrallah: Liberation in 2000 established for a time of victories

Beirut (ST): The Secretary-General of Hezbollah, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, affirmed that  Syrian support in its various forms was one of the important factors in the achievement that was realized with the victory of the resistance in 2000, explaining that the steadfastness of the resistance axis formed the main support for the recent victory in occupied Palestine.

In a speech on the occasion of the Resistance and Liberation Day reported by Al-Manar TV, Nasrallah said that one of the important factors for the victory of 2000 was the Syrian support in its various forms during the era of the late President Hafez al-Assad, which continued with President Bashar al-Assad, explaining that the liberation that was accomplished on the 25th of May is the result of accumulation of long years of work, resistance and sacrifice from many forces, including the martyrs of the Syrian Arab Army.

Sayyed Nasrallah stated that the liberation in 2000 placed the enemy, friend, the Palestinian cause and the conflict in front of a different strategic path and founded for a time of victories.

The Secretary-General of Hezbollah said, “From now on we celebrate two great victories in May, the 25 of May 2000 and the 21 of May 2021, the victory in Gaza,” affirming that the axis of resistance has exceeded the most difficult ten years in its history thanks to its steadfastness, as Syria goes to its elections tomorrow confirming its political presence and independent decision, while Lebanon is witnessing steadfastness and stability despite the difficult economic, financial and living dimensions, to reach Iran, which overcomes sanctions and the siege imposed on it and is heading for close elections.

Sayyed Nasrallah stated that the Israeli occupation forces’ evacuation of Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood in occupied Jerusalem aims to liquidate the direct Palestinian presence in it, as it has become clear that Jerusalem, with its people, neighborhoods and sanctities, has entered a dangerous threatening circle, which forced the Palestinian resistance to take a new and decisive historical position.

Sayyed Nasrallah explained that one of the important results of the victory achieved by the Palestinian resistance is that it has brought life back to the Palestinian cause in the world, as the countries of the world once again reminded the Palestinian people and re-showed the ugly and brutal face of the Israeli occupation entity that killed children and committed massacres.
