Mufti Hassoun receives Russian Parliamentary delegation

DAMASCUS, (ST)_Syria’s Grand Mufti Sheikh Ahmad Badreddin Hasson received on Tuesday the Russian parliamentary delegation who came to Damascus to follow up on presidential elections to be held tomorrow. 
 
Sheikh Hasson said that the presidential elections are being held as Syria is recovering and the invited parliamentary delegation will see that, stressing the importance of enhancing Syrian-Russian relations in all fields.
 
The Russian delegation hoped  that safety and stability will be restored to all areas in Syria. 
 
The delegation arrived in Damascus yesterday in response to the invitation sent by the Syrian People’s Assembly [Parliament].
