Under the title “ the Guardians of Syria” an exhibition was opened in Moscow by the Russian Regiment of Firefighters and Rescue workers in cooperation with the People’s Friendship University of Russia.
“This exhibition reflects the deep-rooted friendship and cooperation relations between the Syrian and Russian peoples, and immortalizes the sacrifices made by the heroes of the Syrian Arab Army and the Russian armed forces in fighting terrorism which threatens all human civilization,” the Syrian ambassador in Moscow Dr. Riyad Haddad said in a speech during the opening ceremony.
Ambassador Haddad added “The sacrifices made by the Russian armed forces during the anti-terrorism battles in Syria expressed the truth of the benevolent and peace-loving Russian people and proved that members of these forces are the descendants of the makers of victory in the Great Patriotic War.”
He voiced thanks and appreciation for Russia , its friendly people and its army over this distinguished initiative.
The opening was attended by the leadership of the Russian regiment of firefighters and rescue workers , a delegation from the Administration of the People’s Friendship University of Russia a crowd of members of the Syrian community in Moscow and Syrian students studying at the university.
