Israeli occupation continues to impede the delivery of humanitarian aid and fuel to Gaza

The Israeli occupation authorities continue to hinder the delivery of humanitarian aid and fuel to the besieged Gaza Strip, Maan News Agency reported on Monday.

Since its barbaric aggression on Gaza, launched on May 10 and continued until May 21st, the Isareli occupation has been imposing a full land siege and naval blockade on the Palestinians in the strip with the aim of harassing them and exacerbating their humanitarian suffering.  The recent Israeli aggression on Gaza claimed the lives of hundreds of Palestinians, wounded thousands others and caused further destruction to infrastructure, houses and properties.

According to the news agency, the situation in the strip has been worsened by the damage caused to electricity networks due to the Israeli shelling in addition to the occupation’s refusal to allow the delivery of fuel to Gaza which hinders work at hospitals and affects water supplies for the Palestinians, a crisis that will lead to disastrous health repercussions.
