Demonstration in Montreal, Canada, in solidarity with the Palestinian people

Ottawa, (ST) – The Canadian city of Montreal witnessed a demonstration denouncing the Israeli aggression and in solidarity with the Palestinian people in facing this aggression.

According to the French Press Agency, the demonstrators raised Palestinian flags and banners reading “Free Palestine” and marched on St. Catherine Street, the main commercial way in the city, after a protest they organized in front of the Israeli entity consulate in the city.

 

One of the demonstrating  women said that, “we are here in solidarity with Palestine,” while another indicated that, she is demonstrating in solidarity with children in the Gaza Strip and to denounce Israeli anti-human actions.

The Canadian police arrested one of the participants in the demonstration, after announcing that it considered it “illegal” under the pretext that some of its participants threw stones at the police .

Many capitals and cities in the world are witnessing demonstrations, sit-ins and sit-ins in solidarity and support for the Palestinian people and condemnation of the Israeli attacks on the Palestinians in Al-Quds(Jerusalem) and the Gaza Strip.
