A stand in solidarity with the Palestinian people staged in Arnous Square, Damascus

Damascus (ST): Participants in a stand of solidarity with the Palestinian people affirmed their permanent support for the Palestinian cause as it is the central issue for the Arab people until the liberation of the land and the establishment of the independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its eternal capital.

The participants in the stand organized by the United Syrian Communist Party in Arnous Square in Damascus carried the Syrian and Palestinian national flags and banners affirming support for the steadfastness and resistance of the Palestinian people and condemning the attacks and brutal practices perpetrated against them by the occupation authorities.

The participants stressed the necessity of struggle and resistance in all forms because the Zionist enemy only understands the language of force to liberate all occupied Arab lands from the Syrian Golan to Palestine, stressing that the occupation will end no matter how long it takes, and the leaders of the Zionist entity must be tried as war criminals.

The head of the Syrian Arab People’s Committee for Supporting the Palestinian People and Resisting the Zionist Project, Dr. Saber Falhout, Director-General of the Jerusalem International Foundation – Syria Dr. Khalaf Al-Miftah, a number of leaders and representatives of the Palestinian resistance groups, popular organizations, bodies, committees for the defense of prisoners participated in the stand.
