Palestinian prisoner Khaled Muhammad Makhamrah continues his open-ended hunger strike for the sixth day consecutively, protesting against the ongoing crimes of the Israeli occupation against the Palestinian prisoners in their detention centers.
Wafa News Agency reported the Palestinian Prisoners Club as saying in a statement today that 26-year-old prisoner Makhamra- from the city of Yatta, south of Hebron, who has been in detention since 2016-continues his open hunger strike for the sixth day consecutively. He is subjected to the worst forms of psychological and physical torture in the occupation detention centers.
Around 4,600 Palestinian prisoners inside the Israeli jails face harsh detention conditions, including 550 prisoners in need of urgent medical intervention.
