Spanish MP condemns the continued Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip

On May 19th, the Spanish representative in the European Parliament for the united left and the “UNidas Podemos” party  Mano Pineda condemned the continuous Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip.

Pineda criticized the negative position of the European Union and its condoning of the perpetration of massacres by the occupation entity against the Palestinians despite its possession of the necessary tools to prevent it.

During his intervention in the plenary session of the European Parliament, Pineda also denounced the European Union condemning the launching of rockets from the Gaza Strip while not moving a finger towards the massacres committed by the Israeli occupation against Palestinian civilians.

Pineda called for the Israeli occupation’s participation in the programs funded by the European Union to be suspended, and for the European Union to end the suffering of the Palestinian people.

Pineda also criticized the negative role of the European Union in saving and releasing the Spanish activist Juan Ruith, who is detained in Israeli prisons and who is still under torture and investigation for weeks.
