Hatami reiterates Iran’s stand by Syria

Tehran, (ST) – Iranian Defense Minister General Amir Hatami reiterated that, his country stands by Syria and supports the unity and sovereignty of its territories. He expressed at the same time that, Tehran is ready to participate in its reconstruction process.

General Hatami, during his meeting with the Syrian economic delegation pointed out to the strategic role of Syria in the resistance axis“Iran stands by the Syrian government and people to preserve its territorial integrity, and it is ready to participate in the  reconstruction process,” Hatami added.

On the other hand, Hatami condemned the crimes of the Zionist entity and the killing of defenseless Palestinian women and children in its continuous aggression against the Gaza Strip. He indicated that, the Palestinian people, who are inspired by the resistance and steadfastness of the Syrian people in the face of the terrorist war on their country, turned the plans of the Zionist entity into a nightmare.

The Syrian economic delegation held a second round of talks with officials of the Iranian ItkaCompany for Food Industries, during which they reviewed various aspects of cooperation in several areas.
