Corona virus kills more than three million and 401 thousand people around the world

Capitals,(ST)-The new Corona virus has claimed the lives of more than three million and 401 thousand people around the world since its outbreak began in December 2019, according to the latest statistics of the American Worldometers site.

According to the site, the total number of infections around the world has so far reached 164189004, and the total deaths reached 3401,990 cases, while the total cases of recovering from the virus has reached 1,42864728 cases.

The United States continues to lead the countries most affected by the virus in terms of infections and deaths, with 600466 deaths out of 33739319 cases, followed by India with 278,751 deaths out of 25227970 cases, and Brazil third, with 436537 deaths out of 15657391 infections.
