National events in support of the presidential elections: A new political victory will be added to the victories of our valiant army
On May 17th, civil, youth, and religious activities participated in a mass gathering held in the city of Sweida in support of the presidential elections, national sovereignty and the sacrifices of the Syrian Arab Army.
The participants in the gathering, which was held in the Watan tent near Tishreen Square, and included poetic and popular paragraphs, emphasized the importance of broad participation in the presidential elections, which represent a political victory for Syria.
Sheikh Yasser Abu Fakhr said : “ We, as Syrians, are all interested in participating in this constitutional entitlement, going to the ballot boxes and choosing the candidate we want, and we will confirm through this entitlement that we are the sons of a civilization, values, and sons of a steadfast, resistant people.”
Ex patriot Adnan Azzam stated that theSyrian people, the descendants of the leaders of the Great Syrian Revolution, will participate, after ten years of unjust war on our country, in the presidential elections in order to make the future of Syria.
The Head of the Arab Writers Union branch inSweida , Dr. Fayez Ezz El-Din, pointed out in a speech that the presidential elections represented a new journey in the history of Syria.
The event was attended by the Assistant Secretary General of the Arab Socialist Baath Party, Engineer Hilal Al-Hilal and a number of members of the Central Command of the Baath Party.
In Homs, the participants in the national gathering that was held in the Bab Al-Dreib neighborhood in support of the presidential elections confirmed that the twenty-sixth of May represents a political victory that is added to the military victories of the Syrian Arab Army.
During the gathering that included the sheikhs of Arab tribes and tribes from Raqqa, Deir Ezzor, Quneitra, and Sweida, and popular and civil events from the governorate.

A student event was held at the College of Arts at Al-Baath University in support of the presidential elections, as students Suzan Al-Oqda , Khalil Khaddour, Fadi Khazaal and Suleiman Muhammad, expressed the importance of the presidential elections be
