Palestinian resistance factions demonstrate outside UN headquarters in Damascus

DAMASCUS, (ST)_Palestinian resistance factions have demonstrated outside the UN headquarters in Damascus to express their solidarity with the people of Palestine and to condemn Israel’s crimes against the Palestinians.

The demonstrators raised the Palestinian and Syrian flags and banners that affirm their solidarity with the people of Palestine, who are facing Israeli brutal attacks.

They delivered a message to the Director of UN Coordination Office Francesco Galtieri, calling for lifting the unjust siege being imposed on Gaza Strip and removing barriers in the West Bank as well as holding the leaders of the Israeli occupation entity accountable for their crimes.

The message also called for compensating the Palestinian people, who have been affected by the Israeli attacks, and sending urgent aid to the Palestinians whose houses were destroyed.

Galtieri told reporters that he will forward the message to the UN secretary General, who appealed few days ago to all parties to stop fighting.

Israeli occupation forces have killed 203 Palestinians, including 58 children, and wounded 1235 others during their unceasing attacks on Gaza Strip.
