US-backed SDF militia kidnaps 25 civilians in several villages in Hasakah countryside

The US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) Militia on Sunday kidnapped a number of civilians after storming several villages in the southern countryside of Hasakah.

Local sources told SANA that a grouo of SDF militants stormed dozens of houses in the villages of Markada, Al-Hamdi, Sbeih, Al-Thalja and Al-Shamsani in Al-Shaddadi area in the southern countryside of Hasakah. The militants kidnapped 25 civilians from these villages and took them to a facility that had been turned into a prison by the SDF militia.

 Early last week, the SDF militia stormed the village of Ajaja on Hasakah-Al-Shaddadi road, kidnapped 10 young men and took them to unknown destination amid a state of anger by the locals in the village.
