Syrian Arab army pursue operations against terrorists

PROVINCES,(ST)_Military operations of the Syrian Arab army continue nationwide to clean it of foreign-backed terrorists. military sources confirmed that over 32 terrorists were killed in the operations today.

At least 27 terrorists and 5 ringleaders were reportedly eliminated outside Damascus, Aleppo, Daraa, Hama, Homs and Der Ezzour provinces.

As for the operations in Damascus countryside;  in al-Qabon, Barzeh, Doma, Jobar, al-Dyabeyeh, al-Zabadani, al-Nabk, Adra, Qarra, Rankos outside the capital where many hideouts of terrorists were obliterated.

However, the army operations in  northern Aleppo province,  surrounding  the central prison and on Aleppo-Idlib road, coincided with clashes in Masaken Hanano and al-Kallaseh areas in the city.

Two machine guns were destroyed in the city.

Boats carrying terrorists destroyed

In the central Homs province, the armed forces destroyed boats carrying terrorists in al-Rastan Lake and launched operations against terrorist groupings in quarters of al-Qarabes and Joret al-Shayyah as well as towns of Kesen, Taldo, Taldahab, Berj Qaee, Kaferlaha, Talkalkh and Talbeseh.

In addition, the armed forces foiled an attempt of terrorists to sneak from Lebanon into Syria through Noura site in Talkalkh outside Homs.

In Hama, just north of Homs, an official source declared that a unit of the armed forces confronted an armed terrorist group’s attack on a garrison in Atshan area, north of Morek.

As many as 4 terrorists were killed in the confrontation.

In Daraa, in the south of the country, the armed forces mowed down terrorists  in Daraa al-Balad and pounded several  hideouts in al-Shabraq, Sahm al-Golan, Jelin, Tsil, Tafas, Jasem, al-Ajami, al-Shajara, and Abdin towns.

In Der Ezzour, fighting flared up between units of the armed forces and armed terrorist groups in quarters of al-Jbeleh, Knamat and al-Sena’a.

Many terrorists were killed in the fighting, according to an official source.

Terrorists hijack aid trucks

The same province saw devastation of two  buildings under construction in al-Arafi quarter as an armed terrorist group blasted the buildings after booby-trapping them.

In another incident, the terrorists hijacked two aid trucks on Palmyra- Der Ezzour road and looted contents after attacking an aid team.
