President Bashar Al-Assad congratulates the Christian denominations that follow the Eastern calendar on the glorious Easter holiday

 On May 2nd, President Bashar Al-Assad congratulated the members of the Christian sects that follow the Eastern calendar on the occasion of the  Easter ,wishing them and all Syrians continued health, goodness and peace.

The Minister of Presidential Affairs, Mansour Azzam, conveyed the congratulations of President Al-Assad to Patriarch John X Yazji, Patriarch of Antioch and the rest of the East for the Greek Orthodox, and His Holiness, Mar Ignatius Avram II, Patriarch of Antioch and the rest of the East, the supreme head of the Syriac Orthodox Church in the world, and the sons of their two sects, the honorable Easter.

In turn, the heads of the two honorable sects expressed their great gratitude for President Al-Assad’s congratulations to them on Easter and their hope that God would preserve Syria and rid it of terrorism and the Corona epidemic and restore its health so that its people could enjoy security and stability.

The Christian denominations in Syria, which follow the Eastern calendar, celebrated the glorious Easter of the Resurrection of Christ by holding prayers and services in churches and places of worship.
