Hasakah Water Establishment resumes water pumping to citizens in Hasakah after 20-day halt because of Turkish occupation attacks

The Hasakah Water Establishment on Tuesday resumed pumping drinking water to citizens in the city of Hasakah after a 20-day halt because of attacks by the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries on the electric network feeding the Alouk water station.

Eng. Mahmoud Al-Okla, the establishment director, said in a statement to SANA that after the water tanks in Al-Himmeh area were filled with water coming from Alouk station, the establishment started pumping water to citizens in the neighborhoods in downtown Hasakah, as well as in Tal Hajar, Al-Hai Al-Askari and Marsho areas after a 20-day halt because of the attacks by Turkish occupation and its mercenaries on the electricity network that operates the water station.

Al-Okla pointed out that the Turkish occupation continues with its acts of aggression on Alouk station. The occupation forces have allowed the operation of only 2 horizontal pumps and 10 wells out of 12 pumps and 34 wells inside the Allouk station project, stressing that this will significantly delay the periods of supplying the city of Hasakah and the surrounding neighborhoods with water.
