The Supreme Constitutional Court on Monday notified the People’s Assembly about six new applications by citizens Mohammad Bashar Fayez Yaseen Al-Sabbagh, Mohammad Haidar Shujaa, Walid Nazem Al-ttar, Mohammad Ghassan Al-Jazaeri, Abeer Habib Salman and Anwar Shlash Al-Qaddah to run for the forthcoming presidential elections, raising the number of applications to 27, Speaker of the People’s Assembly Hammouda Al-Sabbagh said.
Applications of nomination for presidency will continue to be submitted to the Supreme Constitutional Court until April 28, 2021.
