A Jordanian parliamentary bloc calls for expulsion of “Israeli” ambassador from Amman and abolition of “Wadi Araba”

The Parliamentary Reform Bloc in Jordan demanded the expulsion of the “Israeli” ambassador from Amman and the abolition of the Wadi Araba Treaty, in response to the Israeli practices against the people of occupied Jerusalem.

The bloc condemned the Israeli attacks in Jerusalem, and called for Jordanian and Arab action to confront them, expel the Israeli ambassador, and decriminalize support for the resistance.

The bloc stressed that what Israel is doing is a challenge to the world and the Palestinian people, and requires criminal accountability at the International Criminal Court.

orting its people is a legitimate, legal and humanitarian duty.

The bloc said in a statement: “We condemn the Arab League’s position and its failure to act internationally to stop the Zionist attacks on our people in Palestine. In view of this official Arab deficiency, we call on world countries to cut ties with Israel and close their embassies.

The bloc demanded “the expulsion of the Israeli ambassador from Jordan, the closing of the intelligence and security spying cell, and the summoning of the ambassador and the Jordanian embassy staff from occupied Palestine.”

It also called on the government to implement what was stated in the parliament’s decision to cancel the gas agreement with Tel Aviv, and to prevent the import of gas and oil derivatives from Israel.

It also called for the abolition of the Wadi Araba Treaty, which the enemy did not abide by and continues to constantly violate it, and to stop all forms of normalization with the occupation.
