Russian expert: The presidential elections prove that the Syrian people are free and independent
On April 24th, Russian political and media expert, Director of the Eurasian Media Center, Alexei Belko, affirmed that the conduct of the presidential elections in Syria proves once again that the Syrian people are free and independent.
Belkosaid that Syria is the only country that has withstood the global terrorist campaign that was launched under the name (Arab Spring) and it foiled all the plans of its regional and international sponsors.
Belko pointed out that the presidential elections scheduled for next month will be more extensive and comprehensive, especially since most of the Syrian lands are now under the authority of the Syrian state.
Belko paid tribute to the heroics of the Syrian army and the sacrifices of its people.
