Catholicos Aram I: Erdogan is responsible for destabilizing security and stability in Syria and the region

On April 24th, Armenian Orthodox Catholicos Aram I condemned the expansionist policies pursued by the regime of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

“The Turkish regime is responsible for destabilizing security and stability in Syria and the countries of the region,” Catholicos Aram I said in a speech during a mass at the Armenian Orthodox Cathedral in Antelias in the Lebanese capital Beirut on the occasion of the commemoration of the genocide committed against the Armenians by the Ottomans.

Catholicos Aram I warned the Arab states of the Turkish regime and its negative interference in the region.

  Catholicos Aram I said the” Armenian people will continue their struggle and claim their legitimate rights with all their human capabilities and national efforts.”
