Maintenance teams enter Alouk water station to re-operate it after a 16 day halt due to Turkish occupation attacks
Maintenance teams on Saturday entered the Alouk Water Station in the city of Ras Al-Ayn in Hasakah with aim of re-operating it after the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries attacked the electric network feeding the station, causing it to stop, thereby depriving the citizens from having access to potable water for 16 consecutive days.
Director of the Hasakah Water Establishment Mahmoud Al-Okla told SANA reporter that the damage caused to the electric network will be fixed as soon as possible to supply the Alouk water station with electric power necessary to re-operate it and to start pumping water to the city’s neighborhoods.
