US-backed SDF militia kidnaps several civilians in Al-Izbeh village in Deir Ezzor

The US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) militia kidnapped a number of civilians in Al-Izbeh village in the northern countryside of Deir Ezzor as part of its policy to harass the locals.

Local sources told SANA reporter on Tuesday that a group of SDF militants opened heavy fire in the village of Al-Izbeh in Deir Ezzor to force the locals to stay at home. The militants stormed the houses, kidnapped several civilians and took them to unknown destination.

Yesterday, the SDF militants raided the village of Al-Hawayej in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor and kidnapped five civilians.

According to the sources, Al-Izbeh village has witnessed demonstrations protesting against the SDF’s violations and crimes against the locals. The demonstrators demanded the expulsion of the militants and the US occupation forces from their areas.
