Denmark to Syrian Refugees: “You can now return to your homeland in sunny Syria.. your country needs you”

Denmark has launched a campaign to encourage the Syrian refugees to return home and take part in the reconstruction of their country.

The campaign kicked off in the streets of Copenhagen and expanded to involve several European countries which have tried to exploit the Syrian refugee file for achieving political goals and supporting terrorism in Syria.

The Campaign, titled “You Can now return to your homeland in sunny Syria..Your country needs you”, confirms the truth that Syria has become safe after most of its territories have been liberated from terrorism.

UK’s “the Guardian” Newspaper said that the Danish authorities have refused some 186 applications for renewing temporary residence in the country since last summer.

This step is justified given the reports which indicate that the security situation in Syria has notably improved, the newspaper added.

The Danish Minister of Immigration Mattias Tesfaye told AFP that the Danish government’s policy in this regard is clear, stressing that the Danish authorities have informed the Syrian refugees that their residence licenses are temporary and they might be cancelled if there is no need to renew them.

The Syrian refugees file has been used by western countries and the Turkish regime as a platform to put more pressure on the Syrian state. This behavior has impeded the return of the refugees to their country despite the improvement of the security situation in Syria.

Copenhagen’s move is the first of its kind, yet it comes after Denmark has acknowledged that Syria has become safe and the Syrian refugees must return home and contribute to rebuilding their country..

Many countries are still exploiting the Syrian refugee file such as Turkey which blackmails Europe between now and then and threatens the European countries of opening the Turkish borders to huge waves of refugees if they don’t pay it the money it asked for.

The Syrian government has repeatedly called on the Syrian refugees to return home and has exerted massive efforts to facilitate the safe and voluntary return of the refugees. The country also held an international conference to mobilize efforts with the aim of helping the refugees return home, but most of the European countries refused to participate in this conference so that they can continue using this file in their war on Syria.
