A US-backed SDF militia leader killed in the northern countryside of Deir Ezzor
A leader of the US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) militia was shot dead near the town of Al-Sour in the northern countryside of Deir Ezzor.
Local sources told SANA that an SDF militia leader was killed by machinegun fire on the Al-Kharafi road near the town of Al-Sour in the northern countryside of Deir Ezzor.
Assassinations targeting leaders and militants of the SDF increased during the past period, most recent of which was the killing of a militant and his wife, who was working in one of the SDF-affiliated facilities, on April 7th as a result of an attack on their house in the city of Raqqa.
