Palestine FM: Israeli violations show contempt for the international community

On April 12th, the Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that the failure of the international community and the weakness of its positions and responses to the settlement crime encourage the Israeli occupation to continue its crimes against the Palestinians.

The Foreign Ministry condemned the escalation of Israeli settlers’ attacks on the Palestinians, their land, property and holy sites with the protection of the Israeli occupation forces.

The Ministry referred to the most recent of attacks of the seizure of areas of Palestinian lands in the town of Beit Ummar in Hebron and attacks on a number of archaeological and historical Palestinian sites in Jericho, Nablus and separate areas in the West Bank.

The Ministry pointed out that the continuation of the Israeli occupation violations against the Palestinians shows clear disregard for the international community and its decisions, and disregards the International Criminal Court’s announcement to open an official investigation into the occupation’s crimes, foremost of which is the settlement crime.
