Muslim scholars in Lebanon urge enhancing Syrian-Lebanese relations

The Administrative Commission of the Muslim Scholars Gathering in Lebanon has renewed its call for consolidating bilateral relations between Syria and Lebanon.

In a statement following its meeting on Monday, the commission stressed the need to reactivate the Syrian-Lebanese Higher Council and to implement the agreements signed between the two sides in order to facilitate the return of the displaced Syrians to their homeland.

The commission expressed hope that a national government that includes all spectra will be formed soon in Lebanon without any foreign interference.
