SDF militia seizes lands in Hasakah countryside

HASAKAH, (ST)_The US-backed “Syrian Democratic Forces” militia have seized the lands of several residents in Sweidek town in the northeastern countryside of Hasakah, according to local sources.

The sources said that the militiamen expelled the owners of several lands from Sweidek town and brought in vehicles to the lands with the aim of forcing the other residents to leave the region.

 

“The lands that were seized by the militia are fertile,” the sources added, indicating that the US-backed militia seeks to establish new military bases in the region.
