The US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) Separatist militia continued on Monday to maintain the siege it has imposed on the Al-Howl refugee camp in Hasakah eastern countryside since last Friday. The siege has been accompanied with large-scale raids during which the militia kidnapped dozens of persons from the camp.
Local sources told SANA reporter in Hasakah that the SDF militia on Monday raided the camp, where 70,000 displaced persons live, kidnapped dozens of residents including women and took them to unknown destination.
The sources indicated that two days ago, the SDF militia closed the roads between the city of Hasakah and Al-Howl Camp where residents are experiencing catastrophic conditions that threaten with a humanitarian disaster in the light of the lack of basic requirements of life like water, medicine, healthcare, food, security and others, not to mention the restriction of the movement of residents inside the camp.
Since yesterday morning, the SDF militants started deployment in the vicinity of Al-Howl Camp. They established 15 checkpoints in preparation for storming it, with the help of the US occupation forces, and kidnapping civilians.
