The (SDF) militia imposes a siege on Al-Houl refugee camp in preparation for storming it and kidnapping a number of its residents

Hasakeh (ST): The US-backed SDF imposed a security cordon on the Al-Houl refugee camp, which is controlled by the militia and the American occupation forces in the eastern countryside of Hasakeh.

Local sources said  that dozens of SDF militants have started deploying in the vicinity of the camp, which is inhabited by more than 70,000 people, and set up 15 armed checkpoints around it, in preparation for storming it with the help of the American occupation forces and carrying out large-scale kidnappings in the camp.

The sources indicated that the militia also set up armed checkpoints along the road between Al-Houl camp and the city of Hasakeh, preventing movement to and from the camp.

The SDF militia raided Al-Houl camp over the past two years and kidnapped dozens of its residents and took them to unknown destinations.

The American occupation forces are holding thousands of Syrian refugees  in Al-Houl camp in tragic conditions that threaten a humanitarian catastrophe in light of the severe shortage of survival requirements in terms of water, medicine, food, and security.
