A US-backed SDF militant killed in explosive device attack in Hasakah countryside

A militant affiliated to the US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) separatist militia was killed on Saturday when an explosive device went off targeting the militia’s military car in Hasakah.

Local sources told SANA that the explosion occurred when a military car carrying SDF militants was driving along the “Al-Khurafi” road between Hasaka southern countryside and Deir Ezzor northern countryside.

One of the militants was killed and the car was destroyed, the sources said.

 On March 14, four SDF militants were killed in separate attacks on their points in the countryside of Raqqa, Deir Ezzor and Hasakah.
