Foreign Ministry: The Israeli aggression comes in coordination with armed terrorist organizations and separatist groups
On March 17th, Syria affirmed that the blatant Israeli aggression on its lands proves the complete coordination between Israeli terrorism and takfiri terrorism.
Syria said that “Israel” is simultaneously coordinating its aggression with its friends and allies from armed terrorist organizations on the one hand and separatist groups on the other hand to prolong the crisis in Syria and achieve its well-known agendas and goals.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates sent a letter to the Secretary-General of the United Nations and the President of the Security Council today.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates said in the letter:
“ The Israeli enemy authorities, on Tuesday, March 16, 2021, attacked again the territory of the Syrian Arab Republic in a flagrant violation of the UN Security Council Resolution No. 350 of 1974( relating to the agreement on the separation of forces between the two sides), by launching successive bursts of rockets from the direction of the occupied Syrian Golan on Damascus.”
The Foreign Ministry added: “ It is no longer surprising that the Israeli occupation authorities, within the framework of their practice of state terror and their arrival at the point where they declare their crimes with all arrogance from time to time, bombed some areas in Syria.”
On March 15th, a terrorist group attacked a bus that was transporting a number of members of the Syrian Arab Army in the governorate of Daraa.
The Ministry affirmed that this condemned act proves the complete coordination between Israeli terrorism and takfiri terrorism, which represent two sides of the same coin.
The Ministry said that the Syrian Arab Republic is not surprised either by the continuation of “Israel” in its dangerous aggressive approach, the continuation of armed terrorist organizations to commit their crimes, and the continuation of the three occupiers, “the Israeli, Turkish and American”.
The Ministry added that the Syrian Arab Republic affirms that the recent acts of aggression and suspicious moves waged against it will not discourage it from its determination to move forward in achieving its constitutional entitlements and in its legitimate war against terrorism.
The Foreign Ministry continued: “ Syria also affirms that all these attacks and movements will not be able to terrorize the Syrian people, but rather increase their insistence on adhering to the inevitability of their victory over terrorism and the restoration of the occupied Syrian Golan until the line of June 4, 1967.”
The Ministry concluded its message by saying: “ The Syrian Arab Republic was and still is counting on the United Nations performing its role.”
