A child killed, other one injured in mine blast in Ayn Issa, Raqqa countryside

Raqqa, (ST)- A child was killed, and another one was injured in the explosion of a mine planted by the US occupation-backed SDF militants in Ayn Issa town, north of Raqqa.

Local sources told SANA that two children were playing near the entrance of Ayn Issa town when a mine planted by SDF militants went off as one of the children was martyred while the other sustained serious wounds.

SDF militants have planted large amounts of mines in the framework of fortifying their positions in the area of their deployment in the Syrian al-Jazeera region due to the escalation in the attacks launched against the SDF militants as a number of civilians have been martyred and other have been injured, mostly children.
