Algeria, Spain Renew Support for Political Solution to Crisis in Syria

ALGIERS- Algeria and Spain have reiterated their support for attaining political solution to the crisis in Syria.

According to AFP,  Algeria’s Foreign Minister Mourad Medelci said on Tuesday in a press conference with his Spanish counterpart Jose Manuel Garcia Margallo, that violence is a negative situation under all circumstances and that there is no alternative for dialogue to solve the crisis in Syria.

For his part, Margallo ruled out military solution to the crisis in Syria and affirmed that solution can only be attained through dialogue.

The Spanish minister said that the international conference due to be held on Syria in Geneva will hopefully help “attaining political solution and launching national dialogue between the Syrian sides in order to put an end to the ongoing violence in the country.”
