French citizen: Leave Syria alone !
French citizen Bruno Guigue has said that Washington, London, Paris and Ankara have only one thing left to do that is to stop exercising their harmful power against Syria.
Mr. Guigue, who visited Syria in 2006 as a tourist and continued to read reports about my country, published a post in French on his Facebook account on the 10th anniversary of the war on Syria in which he clarified that Western powers’ engagement in this war aims at defending their material interests in the region.
“Western powers intervened in this war. But it was not to promote human rights. It was to defend material interests in a hydrocarbon rich region. As Hilary Clinton wrote in a famous email revealed by Julian Assange, this intervention was also intended to guarantee the security of Israel by neutralizing the last stronghold of Arab nationalism,” he clarified.
The French citizen, who works at Université de La Réunion, pointed out that Syria is at the center of an alliance bringing together the forces that oppose Israeli-American domination in the region. “It remains the only Arab state that refuses to bow to the occupying power.”
“Already ten years of war in Syria has passed, and the suffering of the Syrian people continues. This war has claimed thousands of lives, it has caused immense devastation. This war is a collective madness orchestrated from abroad. Thousands of mercenaries of 120 nationalities have come to the Land of Sham to establish a new “emirate” there. It is a merciless war, where the Syrian state has fought to defend the territorial integrity and sovereignty of the nation, “ Mr. Guigue added.
He asserted that the war on Syria has sparked an unprecedented avalanche of lies, mainly the grotesque fable of the chemical attacks attributed to the Syrian army. “It will forever be remembered in the annals of disinformation, alongside Colin Powell’s flask and the Kuwait-City incubators. With the smokescreen of a “democratic Syrian opposition” quickly dissipating, it was necessary to invent a procession of imaginary horrors to reverse the burden of proof. In order to deflect the attention of these headhunters from everywhere and nowhere, the Syrian state has been overwhelmed. Implausible accusations.”
“Wanted by Washington, London, Paris and Ankara, financed by the Gulf monarchs, the war in Syria has been provoked by the appetite for imperialist domination. It has mobilized a fanaticized rank and file, drawn from manipulable masses, brutalized to the last degree by Wahhabi ideology,” Mr. Guigue added.
He went on to say: “A true Pandora’s box, this conflict has sparked an impressive array of ignominy : Western leaders who claim to fight terrorists while providing them with weapons in the name of human rights ; so-called democratic states which impose an embargo on drugs on civilian populations guilty of not fighting their government ; bloodthirsty and debauchery royal families who teach lessons in democracy while sponsoring terror ; and finally, French intellectuals who demand as a moral imperative the bombardment of a country that has done nothing to us.”
“Washington, London, Paris and Ankara have only one thing left to do : stop exercising their harmful power. Let them hand it over, and leave Syria alone ! But imperialism is not used to letting go, and there will undoubtedly be a long way to go before peace is restored,” Mr. Guigue concluded.
