Susan : In Syria’s opinion the policy of the EU and that of ISIS are two faces of the same coin

Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates has affirmed that the presence of the EU will be eradicated from Syria as the occupation was-never to return.

In response to a question on the EU officials’ remarks on what the EU has offered to Syria, Assistant Foreign Minister Ayman Susan said that the EU has never given grants to Syria. “EU has given loans that were settled from the money of the Syrian people”.

He added that despite the EU’s dangerous actions Syria is still able to differentiate between its policies and the policies of some countries that are under the umbrella of the EU.

“The presence of the EU will be eradicated from Syria as the occupation was-never to return. Nothing pleases them neither political action nor elections,” he asserted, indicating that any conditions set must be those set by Syria.

“There is only one condition -one that guarantees Syria’s sovereignty and rights,” Susan stated.

He concluded by saying: “In Syria’s opinion the policy of the EU and that of ISIS are two faces of the same coin-the American dollar.”
