Russian Defense Ministry: Al-Nusra terrorists in de-escalation zone in Idlib prepare to fabricate chemical attack

The Russian Defense Ministry announced that Al-Nusra Front terrorists deployed in the de-escalation zone in Idlib and a number of areas in its countryside are preparing a new provocation with chemical weapons to accuse the Syrian Arab Army.

Major General Alexander Karpov, deputy head of the Russian Coordination Center, said in a statement that “information is available that the terrorists of Al-Nusra Front are preparing to fabricate a chemical attack in Idlib region to de-escalate the situation.”

Karpov noted that the terrorists are planning to fabricate a chemical attack in a facility in the northern countryside of Lattakia, where Al-Nusra Front terrorists are deployed for this purpose, with the involvement of people to present them as victims  in order  to accuse the Syrian government forces of using chemical weapons.

More than once, the Russian Ministry of Defense confirmed the existence of laboratories for preparing toxic materials for terrorist organizations in Idlib. These organizations are run by specialists and experts who were trained in Europe to be used in the implementation of fabricated chemical attacks against civilians to accuse the Syrian state.
