The US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) separatist militia on Saturday kidnapped a number of civilians from their houses in Hasakah northeastern countryside.
The aggressive move is part of the SDF’s incessant crimes against the locals in the Syrian Al-Jazira region.
Local sources said that the SDF militia set up checkpoints and closed main roads in Al-Yaroubiya area. The militia also stormed the villages of Al-Dardara, Abu Mnaseb, Al-Tash and Safana, kidnapped a number of civilians and took them to unknown destination, local sources told SANA.
More than 50 military cars affiliated to the militia cordoned off Tal Khamis town in Hasakah, stormed Al-Malko neighborhood, kidnapped three civilians and took them to unknown place.
The militants shot fire randomly during the raids, causing panic among the locals, particularly children and women.
In Raqqa, the SDF militia stormed the village of Al-Mahmoudli in the western countryside of Raqqa and kidnapped several young men in order to recruit them within its ranks.
Daily raids by the SDF militia in the countryside of Raqqa, Hasakah and Deir Ezzor come after the SDF militia was the target of several attacks that led to the killing of many militants.
On Friday, the SDF militia kidnapped 12 young men at Al-Saba’ Bahrat roundabout in the countryside of Manbij city in Aleppo northeastern countryside. The kidnapped were taken by the militia to unknown destination to be trained later on fighting alongside the SDF militants.
