Council of Notables and Sheikhs of Syrian Tribes reaffirms standing with Syrian Arab Army to expel American and Turkish occupations

During the consultative meeting held in the city of Hasakah, the Council of Notables and Sheikhs of the Syrian Tribes stressed the need to expel the American and Turkish occupation forces from the Syrian territories and stop the organized looting of  Syrian people’s wealth by the occupation and its mercenaries and militias.

In a statement, the members of the Council renewed their rejection of being powered by an American occupier, who is working for its own agendas that aimed at destabilizing Syria and spreading chaos and discord among the Syrian people to prolong the war and tear apart the Syrian geography and identity.

 

The head of the Council of Notables and Sheikhs of the Syrian Tribes, Sheikh Mizar Al-Musalat, stated in a statement to SANA that the council “presented a set of special principles within which it operates and which centered on affirming belonging to Syria under the leadership of President Bashar al-Assad. The Council also highlighted standing with the Syrian Arab Army in its war on terror and rejecting all separatist propositions under any heading. ”

For his part, Dr. Ahmad Al-Drees, a member of the Council, indicated that the meeting aimed at  presenting a national paper in the context of a national dialogue, away from any external interference to find radical solutions in accordance with the principles of the sovereignty of the Syrian state.

Council member Rashad Alaiwi also confirmed that the “SDF militia” uses armed force and adopts methods of intimidation for all parties that reject their presence through arrests, displacement  and enforced disappearance.”

In their statement, members of the Council called for the necessity of returning all official government institutions that the “SDF militia” seized to the Syrian state, especially schools and hospitals. They stressed that the American occupier, in cooperation with the “SDF” militia, is the main reason for the cruel suffering of the people of Syria in general and the people of al-Jazeera in particular through their continuation of looting the capabilities of the Syrian people of oil and strategic crops.
