“SDF” militia shoots at teachers holding a demonstration against them in Raqqa

Raqqa, (ST) – Armed groups of the “SDF” militia supported by the American occupation forces attacked teachers who held a demonstration in the city of Raqqa to demand an end to the militia’s practices against them and the kidnapping of young men to fight within their ranks.

Local sources told SANA reporter that, armed groups affiliated with the “SDF” militia” on Wednesday attacked teachers who demonstrated in the city of Raqqa to denounce the SDF militia’s crimes and to demand an end to kidnapping young people, especially teachers that the “SDF” militia brings to the training camps to force them to fight in its ranks.

The sources indicated that armed men from the “SDF” militia” opened fire indiscriminately to intimidate and disperse the demonstrators and kidnapped four teachers and took them to an unknown destination.

Local sources reported that the cadres of the Al-Yarmouk primary and preparatory schools in Hazima village in the northern countryside of Raqqa closed the two schools until further notice in response to the “SDF” militia’s practices against teachers.

Over the past months, the areas of the “SDF”militia” witness demonstrations in many villages, towns and rural areas of Al-Hasakah, Deir Ezzorand Raqqa against this militia in protestingagainst its criminal practices against the locals in their areas.

The US-backed “SDF” militia continued also their criminal practices against teachers who teach government curricula in the city of Al-Hasakah ,Deir Ezzor and Raqqa and its countryside.
