Czech Parliamentarian: Erdogan’s regime is a real threat to Europe and others

Prague (ST):  Member of the European Parliament for the Czech Republic, Dr. Ivan David, affirmed that the regime of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan represents a real threat to Europe and others.

In an interview with “Parliamentary Papers” website published today, David pointed out that the Turkish regime is characterized by extremism and extorts Europe externally, while prisons in Turkey are filled with political prisoners and journalists, and the country is experiencing deep crises,  noting that the parliamentary bloc of his party in Parliament has long been calling for effective sanctions against the fascist  regime in Turkey.

David criticized the continuation of negotiations regarding accession to the European Union with the Turkish regime despite all its practices, considering that this represents the true face of  Europe .
