Syria and Russia affirm that US gives UN aid to terrorists

DAMASCUS, (ST)_The Syrian and Russian Coordination Commissions have affirmed that the US exploits the deteriorating humanitarian condition in Al-Rukban camp in Syria to confiscate the UN aid and to give them to terrorists.

According to a joint statement released by the two commissions on Monday, the US hopes to get aid to support terrorist groups that implement its orders in the vicinity of Al-Rukban camp, which has turned to  a hotbed for training and generating terrorists.

The statement added that the US hinders all efforts being exerted to close the camp and to release the hostages held in it and to return them to their houses in liberated areas.

“The Syrian state is ready to receive all the Syrian citizens, who are held by the US and its mercenaries in Al-Rukban camp, and to guarantee their safety,” the statement asserted.

Thousands of displaced Syrians are held as hostages in Al-Rukban camp, which witnesses a severe shortage of food, healthcare and water.

The US and their mercenaries [ terrorist groups] prevent the displaced people from leaving the camp through the humanitarian corridors that have been opened by the Syrian and Russian sides since last year.
