Czech website: The American aggression on areas in Deir Ezzor violates international law

Prague, (ST) – The Czech website, “Narodny Noviny”, affirmed that the aggression carried out by the United States on areas in Deir Ezzor is a clear violation of international law.

The site pointed out that what the United States did lacks legitimacy because it was carried out without the approval of the UN Security Council.

The Slovak writer Michal Havran affirmed that, the American aggression was carried out against a sovereign state and represented a threat to stability in the region.

In an article published by the Slovakian “Novi Slovo” website, Havran indicated that what the current US administration does, show it to be  similar to previous US administration that used to practice intimidation by military force against many countries.

Havran pointed out that, the terrorist organization “ISIS”, which was defeated by the Syrian army in the region where the aggression took place, was a natural result of the American policies in Iraq after its occupation. Therefore the new American aggression aims to revive   these policies in this region.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates had called on the UN Security Council to assume its responsibilities and take immediate action to stop the American attacks on the Syrian lands and prevent their recurrence, indicating that this aggression constitutes a negative indication of the policies of the new American administration, which is supposed to adhere to international legitimacy, international law and Security Council resolutions.
