The Ministry of Tourism keen on reactivating tourism sector, facilitating investors’ work

The Ministry of Tourism is working during the coming period to eliminate obstacles hindering tourism development, provide facilitations, incentives and loans to investors and solve all legal and administrative problems with the aim of rehabilitating the tourism facilities that stopped because of the repercussions of the war on Syria.

In a statement to SANA, Deputy Minister of Tourism for Projects, Planning and Tourism Investment Gheyath al-Farah stressed the importance of reactivating the tourism sector which has been massively affected by the war, noting the gradual recovery of this sector.

He added that the ministry has drawn up several plans to tackle the situation of the private sector’s licensed projects and provide financial support for investors, revealing a plan to activate tourist loans that aim at completing the implementation of the stalled projects.
