At dawn today, gunmen fired a rocket-propelled grenade at the house of a member of Al-Wafa Resistance Bloc, MP Ihab Hamadeh, in the locality of Al-Tal, on the outskirts of Hermel. No one was injured in the incident, and the damages were material, according to the National Information Agency.
The Lebanese National News Agency reported that the army patrolled the city’s streets and erected mobile checkpoints at its entrances.
In turn, MP Hamadeh said, “What happened is a result of the insecurity and chaos,” placing the case in the custody of the security services and the judiciary and demanding accountability for the perpetrators.
