The White House: The intelligence report on Khasheqji’s murder will soon be published

New York (ST): The White House spokeswoman Jane Psaki announced that President Joe Biden’s administration is preparing a report on the murder of journalist Jamal Khasheqji for publication, and it will be released soon.

Russia Today’s website quoted Psaki as saying during a press conference that the process of issuing the report will be carried out by the Office of the National Intelligence Administration after the document on the killing of Khashoggi is declassified.

The Washington Post newspaper has revealed that President Biden’s administration will publish next week an intelligence report saying that Saudi Crown Prince Bin Salman ordered Khasheqji’s killing.

The Congress had ratified a legal amendment requiring former President Donald Trump’s administration to submit a full report on those responsible for the crime, but Trump did not respond to this request, at a time when the UN rapporteur on extrajudicial executions, Agnes Callamard, called for an investigation with the Saudi crown prince in the context of this case.

The Saudi regime tried to bring down the curtain on the murder of Khasheqji and to close it forever by putting five people on trial  using them as scapegoats to calm global public opinion and reduce international condemnations in exchange for acquitting its officials directly involved in this heinous crime and removing them from the guillotine of justice.
