105 displaced Syrian families from the city of Manbej in Aleppo countryside on Saturday left the Hasakah-based Al-Howl camp to their towns and villages after years of suffering from critical circumstances inside the camp due to the lack of basic elements of life.
According to “Al-Watan Online” reporter, the US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) militia released these families, which consist of 345 persons, most of them children and women, under the pressure of repeated demonstrations that called mainly for releasing the people held inside the camp.
This is the 12th batch of displaced people who were released by the SDF militia, the reporter said.
The reporter added citing local sources that the SDF militia, which controls the Al-Howl camp, are currently registering the names of the displaced persons from Deir Ezzor who want to leave the camp within the coming days.
