US-backed SDF militant killed by fire of unidentified persons in Deir Ezzor countryside

A militant affiliated to the US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) militia was killed after unidentified persons opened fire at him in Mashekh village in Deir Ezzor eastern countryside, according to local sources.

The sources said on Tuesday that the incident is part of the intensified attacks that have recently been targeting the SDF militia’s positions in the countryside of Deir Ezzor.

On Monday, an SDF militant was killed and several others were injured in two separate attacks on their movement axes in Al-Hinjeh village and Al-Shaheel town in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor. Following the incident, the militia brought in reinforcements and cordoned off the area to pursue the attackers.
