Syria warns “Israel” about the dangerous repercussions of its repeated attacks

DAMASCUS, (ST)_Syria has asserted that Israel’s repeated attacks on its lands will not succeed in protecting terrorist groups and in distracting the Syrian army from going ahead with fighting terrorism.

In a letter sent on Monday by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates to the UN Secretary General and the President of the UNSC, the Syrian Ministry said: “Within the framework of the Israeli occupation authorities’ systematic policy of practicing state terrorism and offering continuous support to armed terrorist groups and in violation of the UN resolution No.350  for the year 1974, the Israeli occupation authorities carried out today at 1.18am [February, 15,2021] a missile attack from the occupied Syrian Golan and Galilee on the vicinity of Damascus city.

“This Israeli attack coincided with protests staged by our people in the occupied Syrian Golan in order to commemorate the 39th anniversary of the comprehensive national strike waged by the people of the Golan on 14th February 1982 to reject the invalid Israeli annexation decision and to tell the international community that Golan is part and parcel of the Syrian Arab Republic and it be under the Syrian sovereignty sooner or later,” the ministry added.

It went on to say: “The Syrian Arab Republic warns “Israel” about the dangerous  repercussions of its repeated attacks being launched on Syrian territories under false pretexts, and its nonstop support for armed terrorist groups as well as the continuity of its occupation of Arab lands, including the Syrian Golan.”

” Israel’s repeated attacks will never succeed in protecting its partners and agents, mainly Al-Nusra Front and ISIS terrorists and the White Helmets who prepare  a new fabrication of using chemical weapons  to accuse the Syrian army. The attacks will never succeed in distracting the Syrian army from going ahead with fighting terrorism,” the ministry concluded.
