The SDF militias seize by force government -owned mills in governorate of Hasakah

On February 14th, the US-backed SDF militias seized by force  government -owned mills in the cities of Hasakah and Qamishli, looted their contents and stole their vehicles.

A member of the Executive Office for the Trade and Economy Sectors in the Governorate of Hasakah Sattam Al-Huwaidi said:

“The SDF militias has seized the public mills of Al-Jazirah, Al- Qamishli Al-Hasakah,” and looted their contents of flour, bran and packaging bags, and stole the entire contents of the three mills’ warehouses .”

 

Al-Huwaidi added that the militiamen also seized the garage of the Syrian Grain Company’s branch in Qamishli and stole cars, spare parts and forced drivers to work under their command by force after threatening them with arrest and kidnapping.

Since June 27, 2020, the SDF militias occupied by force the headquarters of the General Electricity Company of Al-Hasakah in the Al-Nashwa neighborhood, the General Administration of Grains building in the Ghuwairan neighborhood, and other governmental HQs and buildings.
