Occupation forces seize 19 dunums of Palestinian lands in Qalqilya

Occupied Al-Quds, (ST) – the Israeli occupation authorities seized 19 dunums of Palestinian lands in the village of Azzun Atma, south of the city of Qalqilya in the occupied West Bank.

The official in charge of the settlement resistance file in Qalqilya, Muhammad Abu Al-Sheikh, told Wafa News Agency th

at the occupation authorities had seized 19 dunums to the west of the village to expand a settlement established on their lands.

Within the framework of its Judaizing and aggressive plans to displace Palestinians, the occupation authorities are escalating their settlement plans and seizing Palestinian lands in the occupied West Bank, ignoring international resolutions that affirm the illegality of settlement in the occupied Palestinian territories and demanding that it be stopped.

The occupation forces also renewed targeting Palestinian farmers in the south and east of the besieged Gaza Strip.

Wafa News Agency reported that the occupation forces opened fire on Palestinian farmers in Al-Zaitoun neighborhood in the east of the Gaza Strip and Khan Yunis in the south, forcing them to leave their lands.

The occupation forces attack the Palestinian farmlands in the besieged Gaza Strip on a daily basis in order to prevent the farmers from cultivating their lands in light of the unjust siege imposed on them for years.

Wafa Agency also stated that, the occupation forces stormed the Batn Al-Hawa neighborhood in the town of Silwan in occupied Al-Quds (Jerusalem) and demolished an agricultural facility.

The town of Silwan, south of Al-Aqsa Mosque, is under continuous targeting by the Israeli occupation, which is trying to uproot the Palestinians from it by seizing or demolishing their homes and plundering their lands, to implement its Judaization plans.

The Palestinian government always calls on the international community to act effectively in order to stop the Israeli settlement operations and to oblige the occupation to implement the decisions of international legitimacy, mainly Resolution No. 2334 which calls for an immediate halt of settlement activities.
